These vendor recommendations are all used by John Pohly’s teams at a very advanced level. In the membership trainings, John shows how to get the most out of each vendor product listed below.
As Seen in FB Secret Agent:
LeadPages are still the best for niche ads on Facebook. In 2014, John Pohly used LeadPages exclusively to build 30 landing pages during a 90-day real estate lead generation contest. His pages gained registrations at 25% rate when most of his 100,000 competitors in the contest had less than a 5% registration rate. John won the contest by a landslide and took home a $20,000 prize! When you generate traffic from Facebook, always assume that they are on a mobile device. LeadPages were mobile responsive in 2014 and in 2015 they created LeadDigits which is a short code text messaging service also helpful on Facebook advertisements.
CallAction is a unique product that fixes the biggest issue in real estate – the 24/7 always ready-to-answer phone calls from today’s high demand, high expectation, instant gratification buyers and sellers. Studies show, instant or within first 5 minutes is critical for phone call conversion to appointment. With clever automated text messages, the called feels that they are dealing with a busy and successful agent who is also an organized communicator. Within 2 seconds of a phone call, the CallAction service data mines the phone number on called ID and sends you a text message with information like name, email, address, income, occupation and many other helpful insights on the person who just called you – even if you picked up the phone! On a recent training, John declared that this was a bigger innovation for real estate lead generation than the Google algorithm update of 2005. This product is only available in U.S. (not allowed in Canada).
Cole Realty Resource is a must-have tool for any successful Facebook advertiser in the U.S. Fill in the missing information on your internet leads. Cole has been around for 50 years and with some of their recent technology innovations they can help you find names for home owners, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Fiverr is a site that has tons of real estate related gigs, best part is that all gigs start a price of $5. Over the years, John Pohly and Michael Tritthart have outsourced a ton of small projects to vendors on Fiverr. Similar to eBay – Fiverr acts as the go between for transactions and has a rating system for sellers. Our advice is to search by keyword and find the seller/vendor with several 5 star ratings.

*Zapier Compatible – Who cares? You should… Zapier is the international standard for mid-ware, it is a connector of software. When a software company goes to the extent of becoming part of the Zapier network of 400+ software programs it means that you are working with a very forward thinking company. I have been pushing on vendors for the past 3 years to make their software talk to each other programs. Finally in 2016, we have about a dozen companies in our industry that have taken on the Zapier challenge and those companies deserve a mention Appointlet, BombBomb, CallAction, Contactually, Facebook pages, Google Apps, Happy Grasshopper, Infusionsoft, LinkedIn, Twitter and Zillow.
Whenever I think about purchasing software, I always check to see if they are on Zapier. It is a good litmus test but for now do not expect a lot of real estate software companies to do it. I have been begging LeadPages to do this for 3 years and they have no excuses with over 40,000 customers. Some start-up real estate software companies can not justify the developer hours until they get hundreds or thousands of paid clients.
A few examples I have used recently… someone schedules an appointment with me on Appointlet and I send them a video follow-up with BombBomb. I send my CallAction phone leads to a Google sheet on autopilot. I finds blogs with a RSS feeds of relevant content and populate the content to Facebook Business pages. All of this happens automatically at 15-minute intervals!
